Takanori is a Partner at Mori Hamada & Matsumoto, one of Japan's largest law firms, where his practice covers financial regulation, fintech, and licensing across banking, securities, insurance, payments, and crypto-assets, as well as AML/CFT and corporate governance.
Earlier in his career he spent six and a half years at an insurance company, and served two secondments to Japan's Financial Services Agency (FSA), giving him direct experience on both sides of insurance regulation.
